what do u think about this ideea ?
hehe
first of all update on my h22 setup in the sedan . For whomever seen my other posts , I had a big problem and car was really slow ... we figured it out later that the timing was retarded by about 15 degrees ...
now ... I realised that if i try to do a mild launch at 1200 RPM my car just burns rubber till 8 grand . ( I am still on 14" for the time beeing :D )
Anywais ...
I'm still stuck at the exhaust problem . I'm on stock civic exhaust and i know that , now i'll be NA for some 2 months , then sprayed then , next year i'll go turbo (instead of spray) ...
Now with the h22 i understand a 2.5" pipe would do me good . However now i can get deals on a 2.25" setup ... 300 $ canadian doesn't sound bad from the cat all the way back ...
Problem here is that if i get 2.5" i know that next year i gotta do another one and it's just like a big waste of money ...
- should i go now for 2.75" considering i will have a shot for the car ?
- Wouldn't this 2.75" give me less low end and more high end ( maybe a bit easyer on my traction ... i'd be happy if i could get a decent launch over 1000 RPM and under 1500 RPM
- should i go for the cheap 2.25 ? and 3" later ?
- or should I just spend as much money as i can get 2.5 and then 3 ?
