OK, cool. I know it'll go into an EG, how about an EF? (sorry, not up on my Honda engine codes. What came in an EF?)

It'll basically go into an Civic from 86 all the way up to 00.
It'll bolt in with factory mounts into any civic from 92 to 00
You have to use aftermarket mount kits for anything older than 92.
An EF requires a mount kit. Hasport makes them.
btw, a SOHC motor came in an EF, not a DOHC as is a B20

OK, that's the info I was looking for. Thanks. I assume the kit is not expensive or a big install deal for the EF, right?
In any event, when the time comes, I'll look for a 92+ first, and failing that, if I find a straight EF for a song, I'll definitely consider that.
Thanks again. I'm sure I'll be asking more questions soon.

Easiest would be a 1992-2000 Civic or 1990-2001 Integra. But you can also swap this motor into a 1984-1991 Civic or 1986-1989 Integra. Best is a very subjective word, though. Are you talking best for performance? If so, go for a low trim 1992-1995 HB, low trim 1988-1989 (but NOT 1990-1991) HB, or any 1984-1987 Civic HB (the non-SI is alot lighter but mroe work is required).
