What can I use for my swap, b18b into ek
Right now I'm looking for an OBD2 b18b to swap into my ek. my car is an automatic and I think I'm just going to keep this one automatic mainly because its my daily and my girlfriend drives it alot. After I get the full swap (motor, tranny, axles, ecu, etc.) what else will I need?
Will I need the shifter from an integra?
What wiring harness should I use?
If I use mine what all will I have to rewire, or would it just be easier to get a different harness?
Thank you,
James

Not sure on the shifter. Most people don't tend to keep autos autos. Personally I wouldn't either since you are going through the work of swapping it. Each to his own though. You should use the stock harness, modify it as needed. Shouldn't be that hard by any means. You will also need an auto LS ecu to match the year of your car.

Re: What can I use for my swap, b18b into ek (Hybrid96EK)
well im just gonna go ahead and swap to 5 speed, but since my stock harness is for an automatic wont i need to get one for a manual???
so now im gonna need everything for a manual tranny swap. I guess i better start writing out a check list.
