Well, i am proud to announce that 90% of the issues are now solved. The ruff idle & super rich mixture is now FIXED! Turns out that the 1st gen B16 motor does NOT have the map sensor located at the throttle body like 2nd gens. My Map sensor is located on the right side fender inside a black box, formaly know as the "mystery box" with a bunch of vacume hoses. One of those hoses will plug up to one of the throttle body's niple to create the correct amount of vacuum for the map.

The motor idles like a baby now!

The ecu "no blink" and 3000 rpm limit still remains the same.

bb2rhd,
Thanks for the advice on tapping the injectors, one of them was stuck and i fixed it by slamming it on the floor.... lol. It works now

This is the MAP sensor box.

Update:
Santa fixed my code 0 and 3000 rpm rev limit on 12-24-2002 all the way to 12-25-2002. It worked fine with both ecu's, the codes were gone and it reved past 8000 rpm just fine, till today! The code came back
Don't know! Total mystery :dunno:
I didn't do a thing!
At least this tells me that both ecu's are good and that the problem is elsewhere.

Ha!
I just finished checking grounds!!!
Pin A6 on the plug does not have ground.
A2, A4 are fine, both have grounds. What should i do about A6? Just find any ground on the chassis?

The car is now 100% FIXED!!!!!
1- I found the A6 connector not grounded, so i grounded it.
2- I found the Speed Sensor wire on my original Accord harness going to Connector plug B18. The PR3 has the input pin located in B16. All i had to do was swap the wire from B18 to B16 and Voila! No more error code and no more problems.

Runs like a champ, vtec and all!

We were test driving the car and it was running great!! pealing out in 4th gear!! I was soo amazed.. and then it went into limp mode and nowe will only go to 2100 RPM!!! that really sucks!! so any help would be much appreciated.. how did you know a wire was not grounded? You have an OBD1 ecu, you must jump it to get the code.
When you say, your not getting any code, does it blink at all or not? Will the check engine light turn on at all?
Remember, your ecu does not have an LED like my old PR3 ecu. The codes should flash on your dash if not mistaken.

As far as the ground wire that was not grounded. I checked it with a volt meter and the proper ecu chart. Onece i found that no ground was going to that pin, i just grounded that wire and thats it.

Double check all your wiring and make sure that all your plugs are properly seated. Check the IAC sensor on the manifold, check map sensor and TPS. Those could give you weird reving issues.

Good Info OldSchoolSwap but those sensors will not make the car cut at 2100... Normally limp mode cut is ~3200.. If sensors or wiring is bad I would look into the distributor... Again do as OldSchoolSwap said and jump the jumper and see if you get a code... I would look for any of the distributor sensors ie.. CKP (4), TDC (8), CYP (9), and since you have an OBD2 car the CKFS (54)... The CKFS most likely won't give you any limp mode problems but you could still be getting a code for it.. If you have another distributor you could test it and if you still have the same problems then it's probably one of these three things... another bad distributor (which is unlikely), bad wiring, or there is something wrong with the ECU... If you have another ECU then that would be a good thing to try as well... Do you have a chipped ECU?? If you do open it up and be sure that all your 28 ROM pins have a good connection to the ECU board... This can cause your car to run in limp mode as well.. Without a good connection there or even without a ROM your car is forced to run off the TPS and TDC sensors.... Hope this helps.. Latez
