i picked a greddy timing belt up for 85.00 new. oem will be around 75.00 and yes oem is definitly worth it and they arent that much more than off brand

Arent the Greddy timing belts superior to oem ones?
Or is it just advertising at its best?

i would say you will have people say that it is just bs that greddy is better than OEM, but greddy timing belts are basicly the same timing belt as the toda, they are advertized in the same manner, and i wouldnt think people would say that toda arent superior to OEM because they are. they are aftermarket timing belts, just the same as if you bought after market axles, they are made to delete oem's flaws like high rev timing belt stretch, tooth junkingsnaping. basicly if you are running high horsepower rock the toda or greddy if not oem is the way to go. greddy claims 200% stronger than oem
