Default vibration and humm from back of car

my car has a loud hum from 15mph and on its from the back of the car and it kindove vibrates. what could cause this. the hum starts at about 15mph and gets higher in pitch as i go faster. i checked the brakes they aren't stuck or even tight. i checked the wheel bearings and they moved freely and didn't wobble. the only thing i can think of is both tires are almost bald and one is smaller than the other. the last guy befor me that owned the car had the wronge tire put on one side. is that what is causing the hum? p195 R14 on one D side P175 R14 on P side p175 is the wronge size. any sujestions im going to get new tires this week.

Update i got new tires and noise is still their im buying a new wheel bearing from auto zone and replaceing the driverside should fix the noise thanks for the help

Sounds like your bald tires. Replace them or just swap them to the front and see the noise/vibrate still exist.
