Vehicle speed sensor not plugging up??
Alright a friend of mine is putting a 98 B18B into his 96 DX. We've pretty much put everything together. The strange thing is, the VSS doesn't want to plug up with either his harness plug or the LS harness plug. Am I missing something here? I'm wondering if the Y80 tranny came from an OBD1 tranny. Even so, wouldn't it still plug up? Someone help me figure this out.

I had to swap the plug on my harness for it to work but you said that the LS plug won't plug into teh LS sensor. That is weird. Try swapping the entire sensor. That willlet you at least get the plugs to connect. Might not even fit but it's worth a try.

I had the same problem, before u start hacking the wires look in the connector itself(3 prong) if there is a rubber boot in it take it out. My CX harness had that and it wouldn't fit in the GSR so i took the rubber thing out and it cliped in like they were made for each other.
