That thing is really sweet, but ITR powered Minis are really nothing new...

how did it cost 60K to build? Its not worth 20K. Not to me.

it certainly is, but for the 60K they claim it took to build it, you could almost have a new Z06

My money says this thing takes a squat on a Z06 with not to much work. And it'll hand the Z06 it's *** on a road course.

I'm in too. We're taking bets here folks. Who's in for $20K?

I personally wouldn't spend that much for an older car with a newer engine, however I would rather be driving a mini like that than any Vette ever produced.

Yes, they are. NOt to mention teh Coopers are heavy as ****, 64's are about 2400lbs. Even with the reductions it's had, I'd bet a gutted CX is lighter, and even an ITR in a gutted CX isn't handing a z06 it's ***, my pops has one, and it ain't no bitch by a LONG shot.

I wouldn't have thought the K series would have been possible with how tall it is.

Early 60's minis are nowhere near 2400 lbs!! Where did you come up with that? They are actually about 1300lbs. Even the fully loaded late model minis are under 1900(Not BMW minis).

I agree though, I doubt this will "walk all over a ZO6".

People have been putting other engines in minis for years.
