Very nice mate, im also in the uk, building an h22a5 which is nearly ready to go in my ek. Where did buy your ex mani from? Also your mid silencer and back box? Im looking to fab my own exhaust, what made you go for 3" rather than say 2.5"?

exhaust manifold is a kidd racing one bought from this forum, rest of exhaust was custom made by solid fabrications in london, i went 3" because it was recomended byt the shop that did my build, much more free flowing, less restrictive and freed up more power

My build will probably be pushing same sort of power as urs, h22a5 with 11.1 cr and crower stage 2's so im guessing 3" will be better for me too. Was the clearance real close before you modified that manifold? It looks a nice size, pipes look bigger than manifolds like japspeed and jperformance make

well it depends, if you going h2b your engine will sit tilting forward so any H22 header will need modifiying, this header was for h2b but still needed modifying, if its a straight H22 swap using H22 swap mounts then you engine will sit normal position so may not need to modify your header.

thats what i was thinking...mines a straight swap, jdm lsd box and hasport mount kit. even so im a dab hand with the old arc welder so im sure i could fix something up, its hard to find an ex mani with large diameter bores. anyway, got any future plans for this project? thats pretty nice paint, i take it its been resprayed?
