TypeR Throttle Body on B16A in 1991 Civic Si
Hello All, I am new to this honda tech group. I have a 1991 Honda civic w/a B16 (obd1) and have decied to swap out the throttle body for the larger TypeR one. My only hang up is how Do I or should I say what Do I do with all the MAP and vacume lines? I Do I need to get all the lines off a 92 to 95 civic (obd1) or can I rework my lines and wires to work w/o a check engine light ?
If any one has come across this issue or knows what I should do, please let me know. I plan on installing the new throttle body this weekend and any help before then would be GREAT! THanks Tuners!!!

there are diff TB and diff IM. you have to see if they bolt on. if not just have ur TB bored out cost $100. this would be the easiest way.
just having a bigger TB does not mean inc in power, it should be done w/ bigger cams and / or higher comp ratio.

I decided to switch to a totaly new throttle body becuase my TPS (Throttle Position Sensior) was bad (/is bad). Figured I could just up grade. The TypeR one isn't that much larger than my B16 one. I spent like $200 for a almost new unit with all the sensiors and some nuts and bolts.
I spent some time Looking over the car last night and the Throttle body is a easy botl on, my only concern was the map sensior, but the plugs are on the same and there is enough factory wire I can re-rout it to the new map sensior on the throttle body, VRS the stock location on the firewall...
