I seriously doubt a dealer would give you anything more than low book for it. Also I'm sure most dealers wouldn't even accept it. The only real market IMO, is at the enthusiast level.

I don't even know why people trade cars in at the dealer anyways? A dealer on average is going to give you 2-3k less then you would get by selling it private party.

we got 8k for my girls '01 civic lx with about 8k worth of body damage don't know how that happened but we got a crv out of it.

Sometimes people dont feel liek dealign with selling there car private party and dotn have the time and want a new car now, i think waotong a month or so is worth the extra money you will get private party but some dont apparently
