Traction Problems

Re: Traction Problems (TurboR)
depends on what street tires ur running. if it's 205, and launching at like 2000 rpms you'll have lil chirps and then go, but if ur running puny 185's or even 175 wide tires and launching at 5000 you are gonna fry 'em

Re: Traction Problems (poison)
At what RPM can I launch with 225/50/15 (BFG Drag Radials)? I have Stage 5 axels from driveshaftshop.com and a custom driveshft so don't worry about me breaking drivetrain parts. Just tell the greatest RPM I can launch in which I would get minor spinning.

Re: Traction Problems (TurboR)
sorry, lol.
225/50/15 is a good meaty tire to be launching on. with stage 5 axles, what clutch are you using? and do you have stock flywheel or what?
for h22 civic (since i am working on the project), i would launch low because of so much torque in a lil car --
the best RPM would probably be between 2500 - 3000 RPM's.
On a stock power band at that 2700 RPM that would give you roughly 100-110 wheel torque, which is enough for a civic
