Default Throwing code help please

So in the process of trying to get my swap to run ( b18b in a crx si ) it cranks but wont start . i'm throwing a code 8 wich is apparently TDC/crank sensor so i read , any suggestions on how to fix this ? or ideas on how to troubleshoot this ?

make sure you have your distributor wired correctly.
all the distributor position sensor wires need to be sheilded aswell...

does anyone have a wiring diagram of the b18b distributer side ? because my distributer came with square plugs but my harness uses circle plugs , so we took the square plugs off and put the circle ones on to make it plug and play and did what we thought was the correct wiring.... guess not
