Default throwing code 41

Ive got a 97'LS (ODB2) motor in my 93'hatch (OBD1).
just got the motor in...pulls pretty nice. however.
Im throwing code 41, which is an 02-sensor I believe.
Its being run on a 95' LS ECU.
I believe going OBD2 causes this problem, because the diff in 02 sensors (# of wires or some ****).
does anyone know what I have to do to my 02 to fix this problem. wiring etc.
yes, Ive searched... no results for this specific problem.
thanks in advance.

actually using a OBD2 motor has nothing to do with it throwing that code. what model civic is it? is it a si or ex or dx or cx or vx? is the o2 hooked up? how old is that O2?
