Default Throttle Cable Issue (B18C1 in EK)

Hey guys...I have a GSR head and intake manifold in my 00 EK and I'm not getting full throttle because of an issue with the cable... As you probably know, the throttle return spring mechanism thingie is reversed on a GSR than on other B series. My throttle cable is not long enough to utilize the brace that holds the cable in place (the one mounted on the strut tower bar that also holds the cruise control cable). The cable freely moves resulting in maybe max 95% throttle...

How do I go about solving this? Use a GSR throttle cable? Make a custom bracket and mount it on the firewall to hold the cable in one spot? Or can you flip the return spring thngie the opposite way like on other b-series ?

If needed I'll take pics tommorrow.
Oh..I do plan on purchasing a Victor X intake manifold and I don't suppose you could bolt up a throttle body from a B16 or something huh?

Thanks for your time!

Yes, that is what I did for a friend with his LS in a civic, but we mounted it to the Intake Manifold... easily done with scrap metal parts/pieces.
