just like the title says, for all those with the 92-95 civics, how much are your stock tach off by? anyone here using an autometer or any aftermarket tach? could you compare it to the stock tach and say how much more or less the stock tach shows compared to the aftermarket tach.. this is all for the point of accuracy.

No problem with my friend coupe. It is right on point. When it hits 9k... bah bahabababababababa. I love the sound of the revlimiter.

Civic tachs are off about 200-800 RPM. Each tach is different

Exactly what he said, I have a Autometer, mine is off by 500 rpm

mine seems to be ok at lower rpm's, but 5-600rpm at the top end
Anyone got an ITR cluster, just wondering if they are more accurate the the stock EG one?

I think the stock tachs are accurate as long as the motor you put in the car are stock or close to it. When you start adding aftermarket cams and increasing bore size, etc etc thats when the tach doesn't have a clue what the hell is going on

My is pretty much right on the dot. But some reason my chips are screwy
One chip(will remain unamed) supposedley for v-wack to kick in at 5300 but doesn't until 6k
And my other one to let the v-wack kick in at 4 and it does perfectly.
