Default Taking a step soon, need advice....

I intend to go LS/VTEC in the future, but want the best when I do it....So I want to upgrade my pistons first, thinking about stock Honda pistons... 1) Would the B16A2's pistons fit in my block...? Advantages over GS-R's and/or aftermarket? Want reliablity !

2) If I can do this, should I change my stock rods to b16A2 or shot peen my stockers to keep all the torque ? I only run to about 7K to have some fun...don't really like pushing an engine so far into vtec territory all the time...so shot peened stockers may not be too bad... I love low end torque ! (There is a budget here, but I may be willing to hold off on the head swap longer for greater payoff in the future !!! ???

go with either the P30 or P73 pistons if you want OEM parts. The stock rods on a LS are strong enough if you dont plan on revving past 8K.
