Tad update on the LS1 FC
It's almost time to get the swap started. My friend is finishing up the harness, and waiting to purchase the battery, relocation kit, wire, fuel and clutch hose to get this swap going. Anyway here are some pics of some of the parts, still have a lot more stuff to take pics of.
Quick question, will 265 tires fit out back with a low 30's offset 17 by 9 rim???????
Volk GTU 17 by 8 and 17 by 9 33 offset if i remember
My guage pod w/autometer guages
braided brake lines and brake pads
Konis Yellows, soon to be paired with some Ground Control Coilovers
2002 LS1 with brand new z06 clutch and flywheel, t56 is at my friend's house
Full house with all the goodies and guest appearance by TurboGixxer
Turbo II rear end with cleaned and spray painted control arms
Still a bunch left out like radiator, EFI live, BBK 5.0 longtubes
By the way FD wheels are for sale and so is the Power Steering rack(2-port).
Expect more pics to come soon and finally some progress.

Re: Tad update on the LS1 FC (Pat McGroin)
Any plans for the LS1 itself? Not that it won't have enough power as it is, but if you do plan on putting a cam in it or doing some heads it will be much easier to do it before you put the engine in. Keep up the good work.

Probably, cam.
Later, I will have access to complete machining tools, engine dyno, flow bench. The sky is the limit.

Im buying mounts first, engine second, car last</TD></TR></TABLE>
Pat has wanted to do this swap after he saw hinson's FD after he just finished it. I know because I showed him it.
The money is good now, so why not now

If your strapped for cash the LS6 cam is a decent upgrade you can do for cheap. I see them used for $150, and you should get 10-15 hp, even without tuning.
