Swaped LS/Vtec to B16a2 - won't start????
Hi,
I just swaped out my LS/VTEC (B18B block with OBD-II GSR head) to a 00' B16a2 and the car won't start. It sounds like it wants to start but it doesn't. I'm using Kenji's Chipped P28. The motor is out of my friends 00 Si that got stolen. The motor sat for about 4 months. I have tried almost everything. I used starter fluid to try and kick it over but it still doesn't start (sounds like its going to start when turning over the starter but doesn't)
1) The motor is getting spark and fuel.
2) All connectors are connected
3) Compression is good all accross
4) All 3 grounds are on the car and properly mounted
5) Fluids are all filled
The only thing thats not connected is the exhaust (only running a open header until I can drive the car to a muffler shop)
If you have any advice that is relavent to help me to start my motor or had this same problem your help is greatly appreciated.

maybe you just need to keep going at it.
It took me a good solid 30 minutes to finally get my h22 started.
