Default swap theory

i am going to swap a b16a2 into my 2000 civic ex. i have both cars; the b16 is coming out of a wrecked 2000 si. both cars are 5 speed, the b16 has a full wiring harness.

i am interested in opinions on which harness i should use. i already know about the differences in the dizzy plugs, and i believe that the crank fluctuation sensor wont be an issue since both motors/ecus are usdm...

i have heard "use the harness in my car" (ex), and also "use the harness that the motor came with" (si). i am interested in educated opinions with reasons... thanks

out of curiosity...

Im not an expert of OBD2's but why wouldnt a EM1 harness make it plug and play also. Im pretty sure the EX will have the same plugs in the same spots but why does it matter which one he uses? wouldnt he have to run something extra that the EX harness doesnt have?
