Default Swap Issues

So here's what I got going on, before I go on with the issue, I'll list what I'm using.

B16 out of a Del Sol (OBD1 motor)
99 Si wiring harness
conversion harness from boomslang (OBD2b to OBD1 I think)
OBD2 Distributor (also have the OBD 1 distributor)
ECU off the JDM motor

When I hooked it all up, the fuel pump and distributor were not working. For now a friend and I hooked the Fuel Pump to the ignition so once the key is turned it's pumping. But we can't figure out the no spark issue. The distributor is brand new and was tested. Even tried using the OBD1 dizzy after making a jumper harness and no go. I tried getting a Si ECU but of course it won't work because It does not detect the Crankshaft Position Sensor so that idea backfired.

Do I need to get a P28 ECU? Or is there a way to get this working with the JDM ECU.

For the record I tried using a 97 EX Auto harness with a OBD2a to OBD1 conversion harness and that did start but it took about 45 minutes to get it to do so.

At this point I'm out of ideas and hoping anyone has a better one. Any help is greatly appreciated.

To add the ECU I got with the engine is a P30 just for the record.

to add more, I tried jumping the crankshaft position sensor as detailed on another sight and using the 2PT (civic si ecu) and that didn't work for me. Tested the coil, hooked - to - terminal on coil and touched + but no luck. Out of curiosity I attached the clip to a ground and touched + end of coil and it lit up. For grins and giggles I tapped the - terminal and it lit up for that as well which made me scratch my head because that doesn't make sense to me.

Was using the OBD2 dizzy I had as well.
