Swap H2B!! HELP!!
Hello everyone, i would like do an H2B swap on my civic EG4, but im not sure which transmission to put in if i'll have the H23 PDE engine in it which has 200h.p. im thinking about S80, spec 96 or spec 98... The spec 96 is longer and 98 is shorter! I really need your advice.

What's the maximum speed you reach with pair of 4,9?

Just my opinion. H2b has a ton of torque compared to it's little bros. HP is nice too N/A. In a car like your EG, it's really gona pull well and deliver great street performance with the common 4.4FD. You will be fractionally increasing the FD with lower tires on your EG and unless your looking to go high 12s that motor stock will get you into the deep 13s well driven and set up. Full race, go spec R, mostly street go GSR box.
PS, the stock redline for those is like 8200rpm, going to 9000k does nothing on the dyno to a stock motor but throw it's life away.
I've got a H22 in my Accord (much heavier car) and it's a blast to drive even with the 4.4FD trans.

All of the wires go underneath the fender lip on the outter frame rail. the wires on the passenger side require a small hole to be drilled under the fuse/relay center to get around cleanly. There are dozens of ways to do a tuck as other threads can illustrate much better.
Sorry not much better detail than this shot down the passenger side.

Re: Swap H2B!! HELP!!
I dont know yet its being installed right now but my 4.4 b16 does 128 mph in 4th gear at around 8900 rpms. For a h22/h23 a 4.4 is fine like the other guy said they rev to around 8k and around town the b16 is great.I only care about performance not about MPGs or anything else so I went all out.I'll PM you my youtube channel you can see my pro 2 cam'd f20b f2b eg
