Default Stroker kit question?

I am in the process of rebuilding a gsr motor and I wanted to rebuild the bottomend. In the process of doing a little research on rods and pistons I started thinking about stroker kits. I know that Crower, Eagle, and Jun make kits but are they worth it? I know just having a forged crank would help out but at the same time Im spending 2k+ on the kit when i could spend it some where else.

Does anyone have any feed back on these stroker kits? Any info would help out thanks H23motor@aol.com

Default Re: Stroker kit question? (h23motor)

might be cheaper or just as much to go 2.0 liter by sleeving the block and running HighComp pistons... http://www.importbuilders.com has some nice info and parts onm their site... also http://www.importreview.com
