Not sure what you mean.. If you mean if any of the wires touching the battery's two top little copper things, no. But again, I'm not sure what you are referring too

yea.. thats what i was referring to. just thought that maybe one of the + wires hit a ground somewhere, but if none of the wires were cut open anywhere, this wouldnt happen.

Yea, I'm thinking it hit my tranny mount which caused it to spark and maybe catch on fire. I'm just hoping I dont have to buy another starter. Thats what I would really like to know. And what other types of reasons could have caused this.
