once the price comes down a little bit, i plan on swapping a k20a head onto a k24 block, and turboing it. combined with my lightweight hatch, it should be very quick. it was a good article though. first thing i read in the new issue.

yeah like everybody keeps sayin.. K-series is the wave of the future just like the B-series was. Once price comes down a bit everyone will jump on the bandwagon

yea, i want to jump on that band wagon asap, but no money isnt really helping me. i think i might get an ep3 hatch and do the same hybrid. i wanted to originally do a CRVtec in an ek hatch. the ek hatches are still by far my favorite hatches ever made, and ive seen that hybrid make alot of power... the hybrid article was the first thing i read too. 185hp at the wheels isnt too bad, and a stock itr makes 179 at the wheels. so what would that be...,about 210chp?
...anyone have an estimate of how much power that would make with toda spec c's?
...think its possible to break 325chp n/a? im not much on turbo set ups on ff cars, big ones anyways. its all about n/a for me, just my opinion.

325 all motor with an rsx engine should be do-able. really it just depends on how much money you want to throw at it. the hondata race car has 250 at the wheels with i/h/e, and k-pro. so 325 would take some work, but it should be possible.

if i tried to break the 325...itd have everything. crank, high comp. pistons, light weight conrods, thin head gasket, BIG cams, oversized valves, the nine yards....thats alot of money tho, youd hope that that would break 325. with the money you spend on that you could go turbo and surpass that easily....

i've been doing a lot of research on the k swap and am liking it very much. so much in fact that im thinking about selling my c5 and going k20. ill do it in the next few months if im going to do it. but i also have some ctr pistons just sitting in my garage waiting to get put in the c5 so i have some options to mull over before making the leap. i cant wait either way.

So, if everybody jumps on the K series bandwagon, the price on the B series will come down to earth, right?

When you can build a 11 sec tubo d16 for just the price of the swap I can't say I care much

Anything above 200 WHP in a hatch is useless 99% of the time anyway
