Default Speedometer Tech Needed

I'm finally done with the swap of a JDM B16 into my 91 civic si.
However, the speedometer sender from the transmission appears to be electrical.
My speedometer is a manual cable driven.
Any way I can get a working speedometer out of this?

I had a friend that had the same problem with the B16 in his 90 Si hatch. I think he unscrewed the plug mount and took the one of his stock Si transimssion and mounted it on. Don't quote me on this though, let me check with him and I'll get back to you. I do know that the electrical unit still has the same type of hole and small shaft that spins inside underneath the plug.

that should work
just take the VSS off the old transmission and put it in the new one.
