Some hybrid ?'s
I am going to purchase a 92-95 civic ex coupe and swap a Gsr motor into it. What are some of the extra pieces beside the wiring I will have to have to do the swap. I have the car that the motor is coming out of so I will be able to use all those parts. What kind of time frame am I looking at for the swap? Thanks

Re: Some hybrid ?'s (fstgsr)
I think everything should fit perfectly, with no expensive extra parts. Hoses and the like, but if you have the donor car, you should have everything. If you are hardcore you could get this done in one day with some help. Otherwise, it would take about a weekend. Good luck!

timeframe? two days with one friend helping, at the most. It can take knowledgeable people just around 4 hours to remove both motors and install the GSR like you need to.
--since you have the donor car, you have NO worries.
--you will need to add a wire for the knock sensor in between the engine harness near the battery and to the ECU.
--you will need to add vtec wiring if you buy certain 92-95 models... see EG or Hybrid forum posts on this subject.
--very simple swap, use all mounts/axles/wiring/shift linkage from the GSR.
