Be ready for a bunch of chumps without any answers to jump on you for spelling vtec with an "h".

Now, I've never wiring up a z6 distributor, but I have wired in an obd1 b18b distributor(same wiring as far as I know) to a '89 si harness.

I dont have the wiring diagrams infront of me, but I do remember that all the wire colors matched up, besides 1.
So you could cut the obd1 plug off, with a couple inches of wires left, then cut off the SI plugs and match up the wires by color. You'll have 2 that dont match, but they are the only two left. So connect them and your good to go.

Yes, as Slopoke said. you pretty much just need to color match the wiring, depin the OBD0 dizzy plug and apply an OBD1 dizzy plug.

btw, I hope you're using an OBD1 ecu once you convert over to the Z6 dizzy.

Hm, did I jump all over him about it? No.

I was warning him about people like you. Who have nothing to contribute to a thread technically(cause they dont know ****), but will come in and make worthless posts about peoples grammar.

I helped him answer a question. Your wasting peoples time.
