Default sohc vtec ??????????'s

what would be the best ecu, injectors, fuel regulator and psi to run in my 89 hatch with the sohc vtec? it has a full exhaust and soon c/a/i. any help would be greatly appreciated as it is runnin slow with the stock si parts. any ideas on what im lookin at as far as what my 1/4 mile time should be? thanks

you have the z6 or y8? which ecu are you running currently?

running the stock crx ecu your not getting...

vtec unless you have a manual or rpm activated switch
7200 redline
fuel curve of the ecu is probably not working well with the car either


what distributor are you running?

i have vtec rigged to a shift light to activate till a i get an rpm swich.on the dibstributer i dont know. it has to top mounting ear cut to be able to fit the bolt and adjust it if that helps.

im just gettin into honda's (traded my mustang for it) so im tryin to figure this out.

ok..get a p28 ecu, a wiring harness from "blownhatch" and a 92-95 1.6 distributor.

what about fuel injectors and the pressure regulator? they are the stock si components.

replace them with the parts from the actual motor in the car.

z6 - 92-95 1.6sohc vtec(civic ex or si) y8 is the 96 on 1.6sohc vtec. if you look on the block on the passenger side just below the head you should see the engine code..d16zk or d16y8

happen to be any cheap p28 ecu's hangin around anywhere? maybe a distributor?
