Ok, the time is finally here. This weekend we will install the B16A into my DX hatch. I think I have everything - thanks to this site I found out last minute that my throttle cable is too short, so I had time to pick one up this week.

My question is regarding low end response. How peppy does the B16 feel in traffic? I know its a high rpm engine, but its not totally flat down low, right? My D15B7 non-VTEC is a dog, but I have to admit with the few mods it had it did pull well. It had good grunt at 2000 - 3000 rpms, and at 4000 it acted like it had a four barrel that kicked in. It only pulled till around 6000 though. Anyway, if anyone has some time to share experience I'd appreciate it.
