Smog question
Im completely done swapping a 2000 jdm b18c type r motor into a 99 civic si, except the converter will not fit on the jdm header. Now inorder to be california
smog legal and pass the bar, which converter should i get, oem for the civic or oem for the type r. any info will be much appreciated.

i think you can use any kind of converter as long is not shot...there's alot out there..just have it welded together with your header...

I don't mean to thread jack but don't want to start a new smog post. But in CA will most of the popular swaps be smog legal into say a d15 civic? I know that it has to be the same year or newer engine to be legal, but I haven't heard any specifics about california, thinking about a GSR swap but don't want to put down the cash if it won't be street legal.
