Default Sir1 into Eg Coupe

Hey guys,
i did a search, was coming up unlucky - quick question here...

are there any problems with the ecu compatability for an Sir1 into a eg civic coupe? i read SCC's article on it, and i didnt find anything that would look like a problem, but i wanted to check here to make sure..

do NOT do this swap
you WILL spend more than on the second gen swap
you need the following, transmission or cable to hydro conversion 600$, injectors, distributor, mounts, ecu or chip yours, ETC!
dont half *** it. the first gen b16 isnt as good as the second gen ones.

no I hear what you are saying though about half assing it. If i'm going to do something i'm going to want to do it right. Thanks for the input

did you replace your radiator on your car when you swapped? I recently bought a Dual Core rad. out of a Del Sol Vtec for my application because i've heard of problems with the engines running hot. Just trying to cover myself here

Nope running my stock radiator with no AC
its a little mini bitch radiator but it works fine

def def def, go with the 2nd gen like KaMin states. Plus alot of the 1st gen motors are old. Everyone I know with this swap has spent more money then they originally anticipated.

Its attractive because you think you can save yourself some money and cut corners, but in the end, you turn out worse off
