Default simple transplant question..

ok heres the deal..

jdm b16 sir II. me and my boy are doing a transplant of his jdm b16 from his ek hatch into my eg hatch. same axles and everything. my question is, im in orlando, he's in miami, about 250+ miles away. I'm driving down there to do the transplant. gonna do it on a weekend. my question is, there aren't any precautions i should take after transplanting the motor and doing 200+ miles on its first day or two back up home in the car, right?

some answers and thoughts on this would be appreciated, thanks.

btw.. the motor has been running. he's been using it, no break in procedure needed correct..

Do you have all the right stuff? I assume you still have a stock SOHC in your EG Hatch right? You will need a throttle cable from a 94+ Del Sol VTEC. Do you have the correct motor mounts? Is the ECU you will be using OBD1 or 2? It is a simple swap, and it is definatly doable on a weekend, but your going to have to plan for EVERYTHING to keep this going smooth. Hope you got some extra emergency $$ to spend.

shouldn't the motor mounts he's using bolt right into my eg? I didn't take into account the throttle cable right? I'm guessing he's using a 99'si throttle cable? This can be ordered from autozone right
