Should I swap an H22a into my Civic
I already have an S2000 and several other cars. I want something to save a little gas but it doesnt feel right driving an old beat up Civic. My cousin owns a body shop and offered to paint it for free all I have to do is give him materials. I've also had an h22a swap sitting in my garage now for a while.
I kind of want to sell the civic but am not getting what I want for it. Would it be easier to sell with an H22a in it or easier to sell stock?

It would definitely sell easier with h22 and paint(If you don't charge a silly amount). If your not tight with money might as well do it, it'd make the daily a more interesting car without sacrificing much. I'd also have the suspension and wheels/tires to go along with the swap.

You know what man, you're gonna lose money if you mod it and sell it. Hold out for now, I think it'll sell thats not a bad price. I'd swap and paint it only if you're gonna keep it. If you wanna sell it, then sell the swap separatly.

DX I guess so I just have to be patience. I never really hard an old car I sold myself. I always trade in my cars to dealerships like an idiot and lose money.

Re: (S2K Luver)
keep them seperate..you should be able to get more if you sell seperately..
id rather buy a stock car, than a swapped one...and would pay more for a stock car because who knows how well the swap was done....
you can still make back the money for the motor as long as its not in the car...
car=~2000
swap=~700 if its complete ( but i dont really know how much its worth)
swapped car=~2300

Re: (IHTFP)
Definitely sell seperately... personally, my time is worth more to me. So, to spend time putting the car in the body shop, then doing the swap and whatever it takes to make the install clean and run right is not worth it to me....vs just selling everything outright and being done with it. Plus, you have a lot wider market if you leave it stock. Could sell to a ricer, an old couple looking for a grocery getter, or a poor college student, etc...
does it have A/C? you should have no problem selling that car. At most, I would have your cousin paint the front bumper and then just do a once over and detail the whole car inside and out.

^^ they aren't that bad considering the power and torque that you get from it. 24-26 mpg city and 27/30 mpg highway
edit - you found a buyer? congrats if you did
