Re: should i or should i not (eg6h8k)
he told me that the car was too heavy for this combo. that i should buy a civic or crx. thats cool but this is a family car too. i cant fit a family in a crx. I saw a article in HCI mag that was about a 725hp h22 in a civic that sounds nice. do you know how much something like that would cost?

That's in a 97 4DR sedan, and it was at the road course when I was there with my H22 EG hatchback. His car felt very similar to mine, power-wise (as said by Jeff652, who drove both cars the same day). Even a friend of mine who is into the "show" scene, has a shitload of coats of paint (like 5 different full color changes) and a wide body kit, lots of stereo equipment, 19" wheels, etc, etc, etc, he dropped in a JDM H22A, converted to OBD-1 (his car was a 96) and it still moved better than most cars out there and he was very happy with the results.
Unless you make your 98 Accord Sedan weigh as much as a motorhome, the H22 is going to make a substantial difference in power.

so r u all sayn that the 725hp setup will cost me around 10k or r u sayn that just the h22 swap itself? If only 10k for the 725hp what all would i need to do to the internals.
P.S. thanks for your previous help

Re: should i or should i not (carmella03)
It would cost a hell of alot more than $10k to make anywhere near 750hp in a Honda period. You'd probably have to run a massive turbo, something like 35psi with nitrous on the bottom to help that monster spool. Your motor would cost a small fortune to build to run that kind of boost as well.
If we could all make 750hp in a Honda for 10 grand, none of us would be buying turbo kits and motor builds, spending nearly $6000 to make 350whp

Re: should i or should i not (carmella03)
The swap should cost you around your budget I remember you stating 8gs. But the hard thing for 6th gen Accords is the wiring. Someone has already done it but they are still experiencing a couple problems. Lemme see if I can find it.
Edit:
Check SHO under the Accord section and look into the h22 FAQ. Should help you a lot.
