Default Shift assembly setup!

I have a 98hb dx, wanted to know anyone who has done this swap with this year car and how you got around the lip that sticks up on floor of where the shift handle goes through. Because I have to use the shift assembly that mounts on the inside of the car. Swaping a H22A using shifter

Thanks,
98HB

You have to cut out a small hole just big enough to drop the shifter assmebly down in...it in turn cuts out that 'lip'.
