S2000 cluster question

S2000 cluster question
Not sure if this has been covered before...
I just got an S2000 cluster, I haven't installed it yet but when I powered it up to see if it was working correctly I noticed that everytime I start it, it goes in to MPH mode, even if I set it to KPH, when I turn it off and then back on it will read in MPH.
Is there a way to set it to KPH all the time on start up?
Do I have to supply power to pin A6 also for it to know it's Canadian???
