removing axles?????
ok I snapped an axle at the track....
I I get home tonight and plan on removing the axle (driver side) and replace it with the brand new one I got. So I take teh wheel off, crack teh axke nut, remove the suspension fork, undo the upper ball joint, hammer the axle out of the knuckle. But I CANNOT GET THE AXLE OUT OF MY TRANNY. I mean I tried almost everything, is there a trick to this? I think I'm the only person to ever not get this out. I'm pretty sure it sligthly fell out at teh track, but I slammed it back in. Now I can't get it out! help!

Pry between the axle and the tranny with a big flat head screwdriver or small pry bar as you turn the axle. It should pop out without much effort that way.

Correct, thats what I do some time. It is a hole lot easy when it is out of the car.
