if u not reving past 8200 y get ls/vtec...just get a gsr or b16...keep it stokc has enough HP and enough rpms for u...ls/vtec is for peeps squeekin ever hp outta the car not peopel rev to only 8200 and concerned wit realiablity ...just my thoughts on the subject
Thats Set-up sounds very Good! ..but try to get the rods Shotpeened too..and check specs after shotpeening. if i had a LS block i would do:
B18B
B16 head (Type-R Valves and Lost Motion Assemblys)
JDM B16 pistions (highest OEM compression ratio next to CTR)
Shotpeened LS rods
CTR Cams
and No Short Cuts!!! ..build it correctly..! ..so LS/CR-VTEC doesnt get more bad rep!!!
edit: oh yeah, of course the ARP head and rod bolts new gaskets and seals and new bearing! ..a lot of talk about ACL bearings...(?)

you can just go to a machine shop and have it done..i think its like $100 bucks...but then you gotta get em checked...might cost more...
another question i know that you have to take 1mm off each side of the rod but i would rather do that to the piston. how much do you all think that would cost?
