Red A/C Wire?
I put my gsr swap in my ek, and I bolted up my A/C using the del sol vtec front lower mount. I connected everything (belts pully's, etc.), but one damn RED wire. I don't know where it should go. I forgot where I pulled the wire out of in the heat of the moment.
Anybody know where the hell this wire is supposed to go?
Thanks

i can check for you on my civic but first i got a question for you. I have a 94 civic with a gsr motor. What bracket, belt and tensioner did you use for your swap.in the mean time i'll find out where the red wire goes. does it come out of the compressor? or the wiriing harness for the engine?
Yo, thanks for your response...
I acutally found out where the red wire goes...I just didnt look hard enough. It goes just about where the compressor is, on the fan assembly. There is a seperate plug just for the wire, I guess the wire came out while the A/C was getting tossed around while we were pulling the engine. But, I found it already, so thanks.
To answer your question, I used a Del Sol VTEC A/C Bracket. I think it has to be 96-97 but I am not sure. I picked one up from my dismantler friend for 70 bucks. It came with the pully, tensioner, etc... I just re used the dx belt...it fit coooo.
