Default Really confused here... Wiring question.

I just bought what was supposed to be a 96-98 Si harness off a local yard...

Got home, looked at it and looked at my 98 OBD2a ECU...

Now what in hell is that harness? it's not any regular OBD2 harness has per katman's different diagram I saved here.

The green plug does not match my 96 harness also.

Some pics...

My ECU (P72-C04 on the side)

ECU and harness I bought(harness has vtec plugs and all) I dont get that plub B-C-D are used instead of A-B-D or A-B-C...

P72-C04 plugged in my 96 CX harness to make sure I was not crazy... However I want another harness to install on the motor for a cleaner job.

Thanks for your help!

Definitly OBD2... that I already knew...

But on the precise picture you see the 2 top ones...

1rst one is A-B-C
2nd is A-C-D

The harness I got was B-C-D...

Before I bring it back to the yard on monday I would have liked to know what kind of harness is that tho...

check to see if the IAC plug is 2 wire or 3 wire. if its 3 wire you have a automatic ex/si 96-98 harness.

Well you probably shot yourself in the foot asking for a 96-98 Si harness.

There is no such thing.
