Radiator Fluid Leak after B18C Swap
After I swapped my B18C there has been radiator fluid leaking. I think its leaking from the lower hose that connect to the radiator. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with my idle going up and down. Sometimes I idle at 1.5K and other times it just above 1K. any input would be great thanks

Re: (Jinya1004)
what rad are you running?
Quite often those idle fluctuations go away after you run the car in for a while. Perhaps some vaccum lines were off and need to reseal with heat

Re: (daver)
im running the stock CX rad. I think maybe the vacum hose going to my intake manifold is loose. It actually popped out last nite. and suggestions on fixing that? Oh also, and info on the integ rad going into an EG would be good

The C1 radiator hoses are larger than the civic's radiator inlets. You can switch the stock pressure clamp to a screw type clamp to fix this problem.

If you're leaking coolant, that means there's probably a good amount of air in your cooling system. The IACV runs off coolant temp, and when these pockets of air run thru it, your idle will fluctaute.

Re: (X2BOARD)
i just got a b18c swap in my civic and i actually blew the coolant hose on the IACV. it split near the valve and was shooting coolant all over the place. i was also having the problem with a messed idle. check on the back of the intake manifold and see if htat is where it is coming from. just a thought
