AN-R header installed
that's some good ****. sick with it. will/did the header melt the plastic timing covers and affect the timing belt? i want one but i saw a previous profile pic(timing belt/driver side mount angle) of the ef/da header and it looks like it will sit REAL close to the plastic timing belt covers.
also, i know in the previous pics, there's no 2.5" flange welded on. will the header come with the 2.5" stainless steel flange for me/muffler shop to weld in? please let me know, i still want one with all the trimmings.

isn't the whole point of that crazy header to be able to use a 2.5" collector header in an EF so it clears the crossmember, and doesn't hang terribly low? it looks nice in your EG, but that much money for a header that doesn't serve too much of a purpose in your car kinda boggles my mind.

what about the ef header into an EF with b series/hcp mounts and koyo rad?
here's another pic of the car. the car is a customer's car, not mine. which he uses to road race. the following pic is from the recent hybrid track day.
The EG with the header is my car. I requested that style header because of the full length radiator.
I have no problems with it melting the timing belt cover. And that's after a 30 min road racing session with the engine at 5500+rpm the whole time. The header actually stays very cool. Within 5 min of turning off the engine the header is cool enough to touch.

I love it. Gave me a lot more top end. The mid-range is also good. With the stock header the vtec xover was pretty rough, with the AN-R header it's much smoother. Basically good power through out the power band with a very noticable difference in the upper midrange and top end.

No dyno yet. Should be hitting it to get the car tuned next week. It's running way too rich right now. Guess that's what you get with a generic Skunk2 program.
Since AN-R will not return my email does anyone know when the EF D series header will be released?
