Default quick question

im doing an engine swap and i am at the poit where i can start unbloting the lower and rear engine mounts before i hoist up the engine. My question is... do i have to unbolt the rear engine mount bracket from the rear mount itself (1-bolt)? or can i just unbolt the bracket from the engine (2-bolts)? Also is there a trick that you guys know on how to take off hoses easier? thanks in advance.

what kind of hoses? use a pair of pliers on the hose clamps to slide them down.

you can just remove the engine side bolts, but you should remove the radiator (if you havent already) so you have clearance to move the engine forward away from the mount.

IMPORTANT: unbolt that mount before you install (from the rubber mount) and let it sit there (push it back so it gives more room) and install that mount FIRST. if you dont, its a pain in the *** to get later.

and use a large pair of channel locks to grab hoses and twist, then pull.
