Default Quick crossmember question.

On an EH2, when I drop a b18c1 will the stock chassis crossmember get in the way of an jdm b-series 4-2-1 header? If is does, safe enough to "bang" out?

TIA.

i have the same problem when i put in my b16a in my 91 integra gs the exhaust manifold wouldn;t go on unless i took off the crossmember. im trying to find a cheap header and add another o2 cencor so i can keep my crossmember on. let me know if u solve this problem.

cant you guys use a cross-member from another car?

or model?

i used a 91 JDM integra front cross-member on my 1983 prelude so as to fit a B16A...

maybe you could try finding one the same?

actually, are you talking about the cross-member or a cross-member brace?

cut the cross member and reinforce what's left over, should work fine

What did you use to cut it?

Their are aftermarket crossmembers, I know I sell em', but I never heard of one for a EH2 b18c1 w/ jdm 4-1 header.

Thanks guys.

You should be fine. I've got an "EH" ('92-'95 civic hatch) and there is no subfame issues with my JDM 4-1.
