Default Problem with rear tranny mount, B18C1 in EG with 99-00 Si tranny

I am having trouble with the rear tranny mount. It seems to be an inch or inch and a half too short. The top hole, which is the narrow end of the mount. I can attatch the mount to the block or to the chassis, but I will be about an inch short.

Am I installing the mounts in the wrong order, or do I need a specific combination of rear tranny mounts?

I have tried 3 or 4 mounts, reportedly the original GSR mount, a 99-00Si mount that I had lying around, and the D16Z6 Si mount.

I am using the rubber/chassis mount from the D16Z6 chassis, I compared it to a Sir-G mount that I had lying around, and they appear the same. If I could get a chassis mount that poked out an inch, I'd be golden. The car is a manual btw.

This is holding up my whole swap, and it is fixing to get cold round these parts, help.

Has any had an 99-00 Si tranny mount next to a GSR mount? Is the Si mount shorter? I think maybe i have two Si mounts

Get a real GSR or LS rear mount and it will bolt right up. The Si mount will not work and the GSR mount you have is not a 94-01 GSR if in doesnt bolt up.

i believe the 99-00 rear mount won't work on integra or 92-95 civics. Like said above you will need one from a 94-01 integra, 5 speed that is.

Right, that is what everyone says, and I understand. The "GSR mount" I was giving appears to have the same measurements as the Si bracket I know is authentic.

Can anyone measure center bolt hole to bolt hole a GSR bracket (or LS bracket I guess). I came up with about 9inches, in a buddies car. Can anyone verify that?

I just want to be sure before I order the $60 bracket.

Thanks guys.

yeah it sounds like you have an si bracket. I had the same probem when I did my swap. I pulled the bracket off a 94 ls and it fit perfect. Katman has a picture on his tech site i beleive that compares the two.
