Prelude shift linkage cables to accord
I have another thread on this I apologize I didnt realize this is more of an appropriate place for my question if the admins please delete my other thread if possible. heres what I have.
I am in the process of swapping my auto accord to five speed mated to a f22b dohc, I was able to acquire a H23 prelude shift linkage cable. Will this work with the accord manual shifter lever assembly or with the prelude shifter lever assembly is there a difference in these assemblies ?? Is there any misalignment or length issues??
Thanks again.

Re: Prelude shift linkage cables to accord
Ok heres the deal I aquired a 4th gen prelude shift linkage cable as well as a 5th gen accord shift linkage with the 5th gen accord shifter assembly. Thyey are not compatible, the prelude cable is much longer by a few inches than the accord, FYI for those of you trying to aquire parts for a auto to manual swap, stick with what is appropriate for your year. I am still aquiring parts for my swap auto to manual f22b dohc to a h23 tranny.
