Default port matched d16z6 manifold w/ 97 LS TB, work w/ p30 tb ?

Im about to use a p30 tb, to port match my d16z6 manifold for a future use of a 97 LS tb. Will this workout, or do I have to wait till I get my 97 ls tb, and do the porting then ? Btw, the p30 is just a loaner tb, thats why it will be coming off. And another thing, which gasket should I use for the 97 ls tb ?

For gasket, I would use the 97 LS TB gasket for matching up.

for the p30 tb, i haven't personally seen anybody put that on to a z6 I/M, but should work out fine, granted you don't have any vacuum leaks.

If the TB doesn't match up properly, I'd suggest getting a gasket maker or cutting out a cardboard piece to make your own gasket. Believe me, it works
