i am looking for people who have done a part changeover, or this certain changeover

i own a d16y7('96 dx). i would like to know if i can do a swap, as to, swap both the throttle body and the intake manifold off an ex (d16y8). and what other necesities would i need?

u need to swap the entire head...not just the intake manifold and tb

 

yes, they will interchange, but why? Just get the whole head

Yes it will work......good move too if you cannot afford a head right now......get everything that attaches to the manifold to.....speaking of which, I need to reasearch the injectors and see if they are different.

yeah they will work just make suer to get everything. it is a awsome mod for the y7 the y8 is like the type r manifold of d-series.

 

it can be done. someone from the civichatchback forum have done it. he just hasn't replied to the post yet...
