p28 ecu with gsr
okay i need to kno how this is suppose to work? i have heard of people that have a gsr w/p28 but thats with a skunk 2 intake manifold. is it possible to run it with the stock intake manifold with the second butterfly. some have said yes some have said no. some said u could use the p28 but the second butterfly wont work n it just stay opens n it'll be fine. pls someone help me out. thanks

It will work if you use some sort of RPM activated switch to control the secondary butterfly. If you don't hook up the butterfly's, they will just stay open. Also, this is assuming your P28 is chipped to run on a GSR motor because a stock P28 won't help you much on a GSR motor.

okay if the secondaries just stay open is that good or bad? n if it just stays open cant u take out the four butterflies? well my buddy has a p28 with a skunk 2 chip for a gsr n hes no using it so im gonna try it out. cause if it dont run rite than im

Run the chipped P28. I find that the right program in the P28 works just fine on the GSRs. Your secondaries will stay open, you will lose some bottom-end power but it's not that big a deal. When are you really ever below 5000 rpms when your racing anyway...
